Tastings and events

Hello fellow curd nerds! I'm an experienced food journalist and unashamed cheese geek, who writes about cheese for national magazines and judges at international cheese awards. Over the years, I've had the good fotune to meet, interview and even make cheese with some of the country's best cheese producers and mongers.

Join me and other fromage fanciers to learn more about the glorious world of cheese through a comprehensive range of tastings for small groups, large corporate events and festivals.

Tastings can be arranged for small groups (minimum 6 people) to large events. This can be at your own venue or I can arrange a venue.
Fellow cheese lovers at Glynde voted Duvel and
36-month-aged Parmesan as the top beer and cheese match

A typical cheese tasting lasts for two hours and starts at £25 per person. I am also happy to run shorter or longer sessions, depending on your requirements.

I have several different tasting topics, but am more than happy to devise a bespoke session if there is a particular type of cheese, beer, cider or wine you are interested in.

The first step is to get in touch with me by email. We can then discuss what you want and when you want to do it. patrick.mcguigan [at] yahoo.co.uk

  1. Elated to know about these events. Recently, arranged a food festival by booking one of the grand New York Event Venues. Made all the arrangements and some elegant table centerpieces. Everyone liked these arrangements a lot and enjoyed there.
